This is the end of the "Lineage" statement of the Lineage and Honors document in my possession and from the other available sources. The Lineage and Honors document continues on the second page, listing the Campaign Participation Credit and Decorations of the 2d Battalion, 34th Armor, which the web master has detailed on another page, within this web site as "Major Operations and Battles". Please click on the link above to continue reading the "Official" Lineage and Honors data, as I have in my possession. The web master is continuously compiling our battalion history. This web site will endeavor to detail the "Official" Battalion History, as it is documented to the web master. Much has been written about U.S. Army Armor History by many "experts" and "historians", but to chose who is right and who is wrong is not the web master's role. History presents itself and comes from many, many sources. Truthfully, there is very little on file underneath the heading, 2nd Battalion, 34th Armor, however within the last year or two, much of our history has been researched, discovered, donated, and forwarded from all over the world to the web master. Please continue to forward your information and documentation. It is the web master's intention to post the documented history and not to post speculative and undocumented information, as everybody has opinions, theories, ideas, and armpits. I will try to post only viable facts and data. If you have historical documents and data that you would like to share with the web master for posting, please contact him at the link below. *= Added, pending official linage updates.
